Pet Passports and Travelling with Pets

Taking your pet abroad?

Ashbank Vet Centre can provide expert advice on travelling abroad with your dog, cat or ferret on the Pet Passport scheme.

Not every vet can can issue Pet Passports but at Ashbank we have two qualified and authorised Official Veterinarians (OV's) who deal with pet travel issues on a regular basis.

Taking your pets with you when you go abroad can make a very rewarding and special holiday but there are several legal requirements as well as non compulsory recommendations depending on where you plan to visit.

Robert Wallace and Louise Ainslie are trained and authorised to issue pet passports as well as providing advice on travelling with your pet within as well as outwith the UK. We normally schedule at least 30 minutes to go through your requirements and discuss your pets travel arrangements to make sure you get up to date advice on the latest risks and advice as well as the legal requirements.
